Does not cumulate distance

I just got this app and it seems to be working good. The only problem is that if a session is paused and restarted after a while, all the parameters keep on going to where they were before pause except the distance that reset to 0 when you continue the session. It should cumulate but it does not.

Was it an issue before the latest update?
